Meet Dr. Kramer

Founder and Clinic Director
Hope Southlake, an Upper Cervical Spine Center in Southlake, TX.

After experiencing multiple concussions, a serious back injury, and years of temporary relief, Dr. Kramer found the more precise approach he had been searching for. Today, he helps people who still do not feel like themselves understand whether the upper cervical spine may be contributing to their symptoms and what their next step could be.

His Search for Answers Became a Mission to Help Others

Dr. Kramer’s interest in human performance began at Jesuit College Prep, where he was a three-sport varsity athlete. Multiple concussions during his football years first showed him how deeply an injury can affect focus, confidence, performance, and everyday life.

His competitive drive later took him to Texas Christian University, where he competed as an NCAA Division I thrower in the hammer and discus. During his junior year, a severe lumbar injury ended his collegiate throwing career.

Conventional sports medicine and general chiropractic care offered periods of relief, but the recurring flare-ups continued. Frustrated by the lack of lasting stability, Dr. Kramer eventually left a successful career in construction and entered chiropractic school with a clear purpose: to understand why some people remain stuck and find a more precise way to help.

During his clinical education, Dr. Kramer discovered upper cervical care and the importance of the Atlas and Axis, the top two vertebrae of the spine. This specialized approach changed his understanding of his own injuries and provided the stability he had been missing. It also became the foundation for the careful, measurement-based process now used at Hope Southlake.

Why His Story Matters to Your Care

If you have spent months or years searching for answers, Dr. Kramer understands the frustration behind the symptoms. He knows what it is like to hear explanations that do not match how you feel and to wonder whether you will ever return to the work, relationships, exercise, and everyday life that matter to you.

That experience shapes the way he practices. He listens first, explains findings clearly, and uses objective information to determine whether upper cervical care may be appropriate.

His role is not to pressure every person into care. It is to help you understand what may be contributing to your symptoms and guide you toward the clearest next step.

Care Built Around Clarity, Precision, and Stability

Since beginning practice in Southlake in 2015, Dr. Kramer has completed thousands of patient visits and developed a clinical process centered on precise evaluation, individualized correction, and measurable progress. This process is formalized as The Protocol.

The Protocol prioritizes:

  • ✓Strategic qualification to determine whether each case is a good fit
  • ✓Structural analysis and neurological assessment rather than assumption
  • ✓A specific Upper Cervical correction without forceful twisting, cracking, or popping of the neck
  • ✓Ongoing measurement of the body’s ability to maintain the correction over time

The goal is not frequent, generalized intervention. The goal is to make a precise correction and determine whether the body can hold it.

Holding the correction is the objective. Supporting the body’s ability to heal, adapt, and recover is the reason.

Clinical Focus

Dr. Kramer commonly evaluates people experiencing complex or persistent concerns such as:

  • •Migraines and chronic headaches
  • •Trigeminal neuralgia and facial pain
  • •Vertigo, dizziness, Meniere’s-type symptoms, ear fullness, tinnitus, and balance problems
  • •Lingering post-concussion, TBI, and whiplash symptoms
  • •Dysautonomia, POTS patterns, and challenges with stress or autonomic regulation
  • •Brain fog, fatigue, and sleep disruption
  • •Neck or disc-related discomfort and arm numbness

Many patients arrive after trying multiple approaches without lasting improvement. The first step is not an assumption that upper cervical care will help. It is a focused consultation and evaluation to determine whether an upper cervical component may be present.
